I had such a weird dream last night…can you help me interpret it?

It was incredibly strange.
First…I was back in my grandma’s house. She just died and we just finished moving everything out of her house. I’ve been crying so much because I knew I’d miss her as well as the house. But I was a little girl, maybe 4 years old. This is the part that kinda creeps me out…my music teacher was holding me like a father would. I was asleep in his lap, and he told me I meant so much to him and I’ve become such a large part of his life. I didn’t answer because I was so tired. He has kind of been like a father to me this year..through the tough times he’s given me pearls of wisdom and hugs. Then my mom took me and carried me upstairs to the room I used to sleep in when I visited.

Second…I was at this lodge with a bunch of my friends. It was night time and we were out talking on the playground and swinging. Then we went inside to get some dinner at the buffet which looked kinda like Applebees but with a buffet line. My friend was working at the buffet and I asked if we could hang out after she got off work. She said yes, so I waited.

Third…she took me to this holy looking, pure white, building. There were vampires EVERYWHERE inside and they were wearing red church choir robes. I was terrified that one would bite me and kill me. Suddenly my friend was gone. And I was standing in the middle of the building sobbing and screaming so much that the vampires crowded around me with concerned expressions. I had a fish tank filled with water in my hands and inside was a dead baby. (Pretty morbid, right?) and I remember screaming up to God, "Why?!" over and over again. I was so incredibly devastated, I’d never felt so sad in my life.

Any ideas? I’m kinda weirded out, I have no idea how to interpret these.

Parasites (worms) in Catfish….?

I bought some fresh "farm raised" catfish filets. I breaded them up and pan fried it. I was halfway through my meal, when I stuck my fork in to get another bite. I noticed a long skinny white thing (about an inch long), lodged inside the fish. It looked like a white vein. Was this a worm or parasite? It wasn’t wiggling or moving. I spit out my food and threw the rest away, but I can’t help thinking that I may have eaten more of this white-worm-thing. Is farm raised catfish known to have worms? What are the symptoms of eating parasites in fish? I ate it about 2 hours ago, and I feel fine….. so far. PLEASE give me your thoughts/opinions/advice!!!!

Looking for a private boat charter in the Tampa Bay Area?

We’re looking for a "do-it-all" boat rental for 12 – 15 people out of the Tampa area. Some people want to fish, some want to snorkel, and some just want to lay out. Is there a place that we can charter a boat that will allow us to all of those things? Help!

My angelfish is mysteriously dying, can anyone tell me what’s wrong with him?

At least i’m pretty sure he’s dying….
"Felix" is a gold marble angel, just a little less than a year old, and about 3 inches long – I’ve had him since last spring, and he’s always been strong and healthy. Yesterday, he wasn’t too interested in eating, and managed to lodge himself in between plants and the glass – I had to move the plants to get him out, bc he was struggling for a while.
This morning, he got stuck again, somewhere else in the tank, didn’t want to eat, and was swimming erratically – moving his tail like a goldfish. Also, his pectoral fins were tucked up, and it seemed like he was trying to swim down, but kept floating back up. Now, he’s stuck where he was yesterday, barely moving his gills, with his nose down towards the substrate.
What happened? There are no other symptoms to suggest that he’s sick, and all of the other fish in the tank are vibrant and healthy.
Tank size – 15G tall
filters – top fin 10 + aquaclear 20
temp – 77F
food – tetramin flakes 2x/day, frozen bloodworms every other day
other fish – 4 rummy tetras, 5 glowlight danios, 1 betta, 3 ghost shrimp, 1 rock shrimp, 2 amanos.
water parameters are normal, 50% water change was done 2 days ago (bc i dose with a variety of fertilizers)
The only thing I’ve added to the tank was a piece of green plastic mesh from the bottom of a strawberry container – I attached moss to it and sunk it to the bottom. Don’t worry, I cleaned it well!
Is there anything that can be done to save him? I haven’t lost a fish to sickness in years, and i’m completely stumped by this!
Yes, he was acting just fine the day before, and the day of the water change. I did it Friday morning, and he only started acting strangely on Saturday morning (it’s now Sunday)

Fly fishing rod & reel for boyfriend as a birthday gift, any suggestions?

Hey, I’m looking to give my boyfriend a fly fishing rod for his birthday. He lives in Michigan and would fish around there. He’s never fly fished before but is very experienced with all other fishing aspects. I’m looking to spend under 0 total on a rod and reel, and don’t want some cheap-o "beginner’s package". I don’t necessarily need a pre-made combo, so if you suggest a reel and a rod that are separate that’s great too. Thanks for your help!

Eating in Sapporo Japan for $25 a day?

I’m going to be in Sapporo for 26 days, and I’m hoping to have 0 saved up for spending money then.
I’m not a big shopper, and I will have 2 meals a day covered by my school. Lodging too.
Still, do you think that’s going to be enough money? I don’t eat meat if I can help it, although I do like fish, so that should keep costs down. I’m 5′2" and female- so I guess I don’t eat that much.

For Truth Seekers Only. Truth or Myth?

"As fossil finds continued, however, it became apparent that nothing like giant dinosaurs was known from anywhere on the planet."
http://www.globalchange.umich.edu/globalchange1/current/lectures/selection/selection.html

Really? nothing like giant dinosaurs was known to anyone on a global scale?
I can do one even better than just a plain old dinosaur, and yes, it was definately
well known.

I copied this out of a book. Here is how the book describes a horse:

Have you given the horse its strength
or clothed its neck with a flowing mane?
Did you give it the ability to leap like a locust?
Its majestic snorting is terrifying!
It paws the earth and rejoices in its strength
when it charges out to battle.
It laughs at fear and is unafraid.
It does not run from the sword.
The arrows rattle against it,
and the spear and javelin flash.
It paws the ground fiercely
and rushes forward into battle when the ram’s horn blows.
It snorts at the sound of the horn.
It senses the battle in the distance.
It quivers at the captain’s commands and the noise of battle.

Sounds like a very good description of a horse.
Then it mentions the hawk and a few other animals, all with
the same descriptive writing style. Then it talks about this
one …

Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook?
Or press down his tongue with a cord?
Can you put a rope in his nose
Or pierce his jaw with a hook?
Will he make many supplications to you,
Or will he speak to you soft words?
Will he make a covenant with you?
Will you take him for a servant forever?
Will you play with him as with a bird,
Or will you bind him for your maidens?
Will the traders bargain over him?
Will they divide him among the merchants?
Can you fill his skin with harpoons,
Or his head with fishing spears?
Lay your hand on him;
Remember the battle; you will not do it again!
Behold, your expectation is false;
Will you be laid low even at the sight of him?
No one is so fierce that he dares to arouse him;
Who then is he that can stand before Me?
Who has given to Me that I should repay him?
Whatever is under the whole heaven is Mine.
I will not keep silence concerning his limbs,
Or his mighty strength, or his orderly frame.
Who can strip off his outer armor?
Who can come within his double mail?
Who can open the doors of his face?
Around his teeth there is terror.
His strong scales are his pride,
Shut up as with a tight seal.
One is so near to another
That no air can come between them.
They are joined one to another;
They clasp each other and cannot be separated.
His sneezes flash forth light,
And his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
Out of his mouth go burning torches;
Sparks of fire leap forth.
Out of his nostrils smoke goes forth
As from a boiling pot and burning rushes.
His breath kindles coals,
And a flame goes forth from his mouth.
In his neck lodges strength,
And dismay leaps before him.
The folds of his flesh are joined together,
Firm on him and immovable.
His heart is as hard as a stone,
Even as hard as a lower millstone.
When he raises himself up, the mighty fear;
Because of the crashing they are bewildered.
The sword that reaches him cannot avail,
Nor the spear, the dart or the javelin.
He regards iron as straw,
Bronze as rotten wood.
The arrow cannot make him flee;
Slingstones are turned into stubble for him.
Clubs are regarded as stubble;
He laughs at the rattling of the javelin.
His underparts are like sharp potsherds;
He spreads out like a threshing sledge on the mire.
He makes the depths boil like a pot;
He makes the sea like a jar of ointment.
Behind him he makes a wake to shine;
One would think the deep to be gray-haired.
Nothing on earth is like him,
One made without fear.
He looks on everything that is high;
He is king over all the sons of pride."

No, It’s not a sea crocodile. How many animals do you know of
that breathes out fire, bronze spears are like rotten wood and
it says, "No one is so fierce that he dares to arouse him" and
"Who can strip off his outer armor? Who can come within his
double mail [steel armour worn by knights]?" Definately not a
whale – or any animal we know of today. Myth is often rooted
in the truth – ignorance springs forth due to the lack of truth.

Leviatan is described as what we call today a fire breathing dragon
and can be found in what is correctly called the book of truth. Leviatan
is in the Holy Bible, Book of Job chapter 41 (written about 1600 BC)

How do i get my lure deper into the pool. (trout fishing)?

I’ve been fishing the madison river for years. I have had fantastic success catching 20-30 fish a day and up to 22", however i catch nothing out of the deepest pools. My friend and i think it is because we can’t run our lures deep enough, how do we run our lure deeper. Also, any tips for helping set a hook in a big fish, we have lost a lot of big fish because our hook always comes out. Oh, remember it’s a mountain river and the water is running pretty quickly.
